Sol Merriweather
Sol writes science books for curious kids aged 7 to 12, and for the grown-ups who read along. Every book follows one rule: start every fact with you.
Start with the reader.
Sol thinks the best way into a big idea is through something you already know: your own hands, your own kitchen, the view from your own window. A fact about a volcano lands harder when you can picture yourself standing on its side.
So every First Person Science book puts the reader inside the science. Some pages compare a fact to you, some ask you to notice something on your own body or at home, and some put you right in the scene. A few add a simple, kitchen-table-safe experiment to try.
Sol checks every fact against two sources and says plainly when scientists still disagree.
